Healing. Hope. Happiness.
Tierra Madre Horse & Human Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Cave Creek, Arizona that provides a forever home to previously abused, neglected, injured, abandoned, or surrendered horses. Founded in 2006, they have been saving horses for nearly two decades. They say: “We have one job: to give our horses healing, hope, and happiness. And our horses only have one job: to live the best lives they could have ever imagined.
Tierra Madre's equine experience sessions benefit children, teens, and adults of all ages and abilities. They primarily target individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, but they also offer programming designed to benefit at-risk youth, individuals in recovery, or people who are recovering from trauma.

Caring. Sharing. Learning.
The Linda McCartney Centre began its life as a nursing college when the Royal Liverpool University Hospital was built in the 70s but, once nurse training was transferred to John Moores University, the centre became under-utilised.
Many ideas about how to use the building were put forward until it was agreed it would become a treatment centre. The Forget-Me-Not Cancer Appeal was launched to help raise the £4 million needed to turn the disused building into a patient friendly centre.

World Central Kitchen
Chef José Andres says “ WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. We build resilient food systems with locally led solutions.
World Central Kitchen started with a simple idea at home with my wife Patricia: when people are hungry, send in cooks. Not tomorrow, today.
Everyone knows that food is central to life and family all over the world. What we learned very quickly was that food is even more essential in a crisis.”
